  How You Can Help
We invite you to support the mission of the Barnes Family Foundation. We work daily to strengthen our community, our bond between all God’s children and our historical roots. You can help us make a difference in the lives of others by making a donation to the following projects:

Sasha's Home
After several years of helping with money and medical supplies for the abandoned children, Barnes and Payne decided to take steps to bring more to the children – a home.

Garden of Friends
The Family Care Center has provided assistance for abandoned children in Gorlovka, Ukraine since early 2000. They dreamed of building a home that would provide a stable, family atmosphere for the children until they find their “forever families." They have been working the past three years to make that dream a reality.

Barnes Family Foundation believes nobody should go hungry. The foundation began its charitable giving by helping local food banks, feeding the homeless and assisting those faced with devastation.

Study Abroad Scholarship
The Barnes Family Foundation believes in educating our youth by allowing them to experience the world around them. This scholarship will give students an experience bigger than themselves that they could not have afforded otherwise and an opportunity to help children and people outside their country.

Preserve Our History
Preservation of historical sites are key to maintaining the relevance of our past and the Barnes Family Foundation supports efforts of historical preservation. You can help our vision of preserving historical sites by donating to our current project, the preservation of the National Historical Registry’s 1867 Henderson House. Once the historical site is preserved and restored it will be open to the public as a museum in the spring of 2008.
